| We gather to mourn rampant violence against people of color and queer people everywhere, seek collective healing and dream up a new world. We invite everyone to share their stories, song, poetry, dance etc. All expressions are welcome! My friends and I have been hosting open mics in the Bronx for a few years now after realizing that there aren’t many spaces for Bronx-based artist to share their work. We’d like every performer to stay on theme, but welcome all work. A sound system and microphones, is available If you need to have a backing track played for your performance we can do that too. First performance is at 6:30, ends 9:30. |
