Please do
- Remember the human. When you communicate online, all you see is a computer screen. When replying to someone you might want to ask yourself "Would I say that to the person's face?"
- Adhere to the same standards of behavior online that you follow in real life. Treat others the same way you want them to treat you.
- Keep it relevant. When writing your review, discuss the open mic or trivia night itself on the day that you have attended it.
- Make it interesting. Feel free to discuss timeliness, professionalism, quality of the hosts, audience, venue, service, price, location, sound, stage, etc.
- Use proper grammar and spelling. Intelligent discussion requires a standard system of communication.
Please don't
- Engage in illegal activity. This includes any behaviour which is against the law and may cause damage to any individual or organization.
- Post someone's personal information, or post links to personal information. If you see anyone posting someone else's personal info, please email slava@badslava.com
- Be (intentionally) rude at all. By choosing not to be rude, you increase the overall civility of the community and make it better for all of us.
- Conduct personal attacks. Using reviews to express your personal bias against an individual, club or organization is not welcome and does not contribute to the conversation.
- Insult others. Insults and profanity do not contribute to a rational discussion. Constructive criticism, however, is appropriate and encouraged.
